Court upholds sentence of American Black for beating Russian woman
The Primorsky Regional Court announced that the sentence against American Gordon Black will remain unchanged.
Earlier it was reported that Black was sent to custody for beating a Russian woman, as well as for threatening to kill and theft.
The court noted: “The convicted person was sentenced to three years and nine months in prison,” as reported by RIA Novosti .
The defendant's defense, in turn, called the verdict unfair and accused the court of ignoring the case materials.

The prosecutor's office, in turn, responded that there were no grounds for mitigating the sentence of the American citizen.
In addition, the prosecutor asked the court not to grant the appeal.
In June of this year, American Gordon Black was taken into custody for threatening to kill his girlfriend, with whom he lived in Vladivostok.
It was later revealed that the said foreign citizen stole 10 thousand Russian rubles from the victim.
