Moscow's Tagansky Court has released information that Google was fined for publishing prohibited content.
It is noted that such content includes, in particular, information about alcohol and tobacco.
It is emphasized that for refusing to remove the relevant material, the court sentenced Google to pay a fine, as reported by RIA Novosti .
The amount of the corresponding fine is 3.5 Russian rubles.
The court ruling states: “The Tagansky District Court found Google guilty of committing an administrative offence.”
It is indicated that this legal entity committed an illegal act, as provided for in Part 2 of Article 13.50 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation.
The corresponding illegal action entails the payment of penalties.
At the moment, the company's own reaction to the court decision remains unknown.
