The Russian who died in the crash of the Il-76 shot down in Sudan had documents from Manas International Airport OJSC, RIA Novosti writes.

A statement from Manas Airport in Bishkek said the Russian was not an employee of the airport itself.

The deceased Russian citizen had no connection to the Kyrgyz airport system.

The discovered documents belong to an employee of Airline Transport Incorporation FZC, Viktor Granov.

A plastic flight pass was issued to Granov as a guest pilot to fly the AN-12 aircraft from Manas to Osh airport.

The deceased Russian had no connection to the Kyrgyz airport system and did not cooperate with Manas Airport in Bishkek.
