An employee of a nursing home in Izhevsk is suspected of murder
An employee of a private boarding house in Izhevsk is suspected of causing serious harm to the health of a resident.
An employee of a nursing home has been arrested on suspicion of causing injuries.
The guest received injuries incompatible with life and died in the hospital, RIA Novosti reports, citing the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for Udmurtia.
Details of the incident
Investigators opened a criminal case under the article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm resulting in death.”
During the investigation it was revealed that on July 13 the suspect had struck an elderly guest.
The woman, unable to move independently, was taken to hospital with injuries. She died on August 5, despite the efforts of doctors.
The suspect has been detained. The investigator will submit a motion to place her in custody.
