Not long ago, an unpleasant event occurred in one of the kindergartens in St. Petersburg.
We will talk about identifying the source of acute intestinal infection.
An outbreak of infection was discovered in the Dolphin kindergarten and the Humanitarian and Social Children's Fund (HSCF). The city's Rospotrebnadzor office reports details.
It is noted that there are currently 8 children in the hospital. The number of established cases of the disease is 26.
According to the department, the discovery of the source of infection led to a sanitary and epidemiological investigation.
They also noted that Rospotrebnadzor had identified violations of sanitary and epidemiological standards. For example, the institution's employees did not monitor the cleanliness of the bed linen and did not clean the premises.
In addition, violations were found in the company "Rutsi", which was engaged in children's nutrition. There, storage conditions and expiration dates of food products were violated. Salmonella was found in this product.
It is added that the kindergarten's activities will be suspended.
