A gang of teenagers who beat people on camera were detained in Blagoveshchensk

Law enforcement officers caught young Russians who attacked passersby for the sake of video for the public on the Internet.

Details of the incident were disclosed in Telegram by the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Amur Region.

In Blagoveshchensk, from July to August 20, 2024, teenagers systematically started conflicts with strangers.

Young Russians beat up city residents, recorded what was happening on video, and posted reports of their “exploits” on social networks.

In addition, the police suspect that the same group stole 180 thousand rubles from a man who fell asleep on the street.

Law enforcement officers detained four young men aged 14–18. Only the youngest of the quartet was not sent to custody. The 14-year-old hooligan was placed under house arrest.

Meanwhile, an investigation is underway. Law enforcement officers are establishing all the circumstances of the crimes committed by the teenagers, and their involvement in other episodes of illegal activity is being checked.
