15 people died due to unknown disease in India

Alarming news has come from India about an unknown disease.

At least 15 people have already died after contracting the new disease.

The Hindustan Times portal shared this information in its publication.

According to media reports, the mysterious disease resembles fever in its symptoms. However, the exact nature of the disease could not be determined.

All cases were reported from Lakhpat town in Kutch district of Gujarat.

Between September 3 and 10 alone, 10 people, including children, died. Five more deaths due to complications from an unknown disease were also confirmed.

It is noted that patients were tested for the H1N1 virus, swine flu, Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever, malaria and dengue fever. However, none of the listed diseases were confirmed.

According to the preliminary version, the new disease is not an infectious disease.

Samples taken from the patients have been sent to the National Institute of Virology in Pune, in the neighbouring state of Maharashtra. Experts are expected to give their opinion in a couple of days.
