An American tourist has been fined $500 after four bullets were accidentally found in his luggage while on holiday in the Turks and Caicos Islands.

He was charged with possession of ammunition and fined two thousand dollars by the court.

An American has pleaded guilty to possessing four rounds of ammunition in his luggage in the Turks and Caicos Islands, CNN reported.

The court sentenced him to 13 weeks probation and a fine of $500 per bullet.
