The country that is more dependent than others on supplies of Russian titanium has become known.
Among the countries unfriendly to Russia, Germany, as well as Slovakia and France, are most dependent on its titanium supplies.
RIA Novosti reports this, citing data from the UN Comtrade platform.
In the first half of 2024, Germany became the most dependent on Russian titanium imports.
The share of titanium from the Russian Federation in German imports amounted to 41.1 percent.
Also, titanium imports from Russia occupy a significant share in the economy of Slovakia - 11.4 percent, France - 8.2 percent.
In addition to these countries, Russia supplied titanium to Spain – 7.7 percent, Great Britain – 6.9 percent, Belgium – 5.7 percent.
In smaller quantities, Russian titanium was produced in Switzerland, the USA, Estonia, Italy, Romania, the Netherlands, Japan, Ireland and other countries.
Overall, in the first six months of this year, countries unfriendly to Russia bought titanium from it for $264.9 million.
