The Ambassador of Tajikistan to Russia, Davlatshoh Gulmahmadzoda, stated that today there are problems with the entry of Tajik citizens into the Russian Federation.
According to the consul, he held a corresponding meeting with his colleagues in Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, St. Petersburg and Ufa.
Gulmahmadzoda noted: “We also examined issues related to the residence of Tajiks in the Russian Federation and their work activities in this country,” as reported by TASS .
In particular, according to the ambassador, discussions were raised within the framework of protecting the rights of citizens of Tajikistan and their “timely return to their homeland.”
The consul held the meeting against the backdrop of information released by the Tajik press that many citizens of the country are unable to leave Tajikistan for Russia.
In particular, the discussion concerned students who had entered Russian universities.
The Ministry of Education and Science of Tajikistan also expressed its opinion on this issue.
The agency reported that it had not received any complaints in accordance with the described situation.
