In the Georgian city of Batumi, a Russian citizen suffered a direct lightning strike.
The man is reported to have survived and was rushed to hospital.
The victim later said that he was dancing near one of the local fish restaurants. He was in the company of his friend.
It is indicated that it was in the above circumstances that the man was struck by lightning, as reported by the Izvestia newspaper.
Today, the Russian is in a Georgian medical facility and is receiving all the necessary assistance.
As the Russian citizen himself explained, at the moment the lightning struck he saw “light in the tunnel.”
This information was subsequently confirmed by hospital workers in Batumi, who noted that the victim’s condition was being monitored.
At the beginning of July, it was reported that a Russian citizen suffered in the same way in Kazakhstan.
The woman was also struck by lightning, but did not survive.
