Russians told what to do if evicted from a hotel abroad
The Vice President of ATOR told tourists what to do if they are evicted from their hotel before the end of their vacation.
Periodically, the media reports that Russians are suddenly asked to vacate their rooms. Tourists vacationing in Turkey sometimes find themselves in such a situation. And often it is a 5* hotel.
Vice President of ATOR Artur Muradyan, in a conversation with NEWS.ru, advised in such a case to first contact the travel agent who organized the trip.
Each such case should be considered individually, because violations can be committed both by the hotel and by the guests.
Sometimes hotels abuse their right to prohibit accommodation. They do have this right, but its use is not always legal.
But Muradyan recommends contacting a travel agent immediately and, after returning home, filing a complaint.
