The liner "Spectre of the Seas" was supposed to complete its route in Shanghai on November 9. However, due to a breakdown, it was unable to leave the port.

As a result of the incident, about 600 Russian citizens were stranded in Japan, unable to continue their journey.

Royal Caribbean International said passengers would be reimbursed for the cost of their cruise.
