The names of six hostages whose bodies were found in the Gaza Strip have been released.

Among those identified is Alexander Lobanov, whose body, among others, was found the day before in an underground tunnel in the Rafah region.

According to the IDF Telegram channel, he was one of two Russians who remained in Hamas captivity.

The bodies of the hostages, discovered by IDF and Shin Bet forces in an underground tunnel, were removed and delivered to Israel.

According to IDF spokesman Daniel Hagari, the hostages were killed shortly before they were discovered.

He said the bodies were located a kilometre away from where the freed hostage Farhan al-Qadi had previously been held.

Relatives have been notified of the deaths of the hostages.

Israel has not yet officially commented on this information.
