Residents of Barcelona condemned the actions of European politicians directed against Russians.

They came out to protest with a call to open the borders for tourists from the Russian Federation.

The townspeople came out to one of the main attractions of Barcelona – the Sagrada Familia, Izvestia writes.

Activists claim that the ban on entry into the country based on nationality is a manifestation of Nazism.

Barcelona residents note that Spain has lost a lot of money due to the lack of Russian tourists.

In 2022-2023, the kingdom's treasury lost an additional 4 billion euros (more than 375 million rubles) for this reason.

Activists point out that instead of revising their policy towards Russians, the country's authorities are "enslaving" their population with taxes.

Barcelona has previously been a leader among Russians planning independent vacations in Europe, surpassing Paris, Berlin and London in popularity.

Earlier, flights began to be delayed en masse at Antalya airport.
