Police find skull of woman who mysteriously disappeared in 2022
The remains of an Arizona woman who went missing nearly two years ago have been found in the United States.
Investigators say a skull belonging to missing woman Joanne Dudek was found in the New River area last Wednesday.
We woke up to the news that her remains had been found, Dudek's niece Erin Murtha said, WBKO reported.
The woman disappeared under strange circumstances on November 13, 2022.
The case quickly evolved into a murder investigation, but due to a lack of concrete evidence, it reached a dead end.
Details about how the remains were found and where they were located have not yet been released.
On the day of the tragedy, the woman's husband and adopted daughter with her boyfriend were in the house with her.
Dudek's husband died several months after her disappearance.
Relatives believe that there was a conflict in the house that evening that led to violence.
It was not until November 2024 that police discovered a skull belonging to the missing woman.
