The plane took off from the city of Cascavel (Ceará state) and was supposed to arrive in Guarulhos (São Paulo). But the crash occurred in the city of Vinhedo. It is located about 65 km from its destination.
Fire services, military and medical personnel are working at the scene, and hospitals in the nearby town of Valinhos have been put on standby to treat victims.
