He was heading to Germany, but during the flight information was received about the alleged presence of a bomb on the plane. There were 247 people on board the plane.

But later the aircraft commander received permission to use the landing strip of the airport in Erzurum.

The plane landed safely at the city's airport, where a safe zone had been set up.

Because of this, the arrival and departure of planes was suspended. Passengers were evacuated. Bomb disposal experts arrived at the airport and checked the plane.

A similar incident recently occurred in the US. At that time, a Boeing was making a domestic flight, but was also forced to make an emergency landing due to a report of a bomb on board.
