The thieves saw the loading process and then broke the glass in the car and stole four laptops, smart watches, headphones, wallets, documents, gold jewelry and gifts.

Despite this, the victims believe that the biggest loss for them was the soft toy Pea.

The item is valuable because it accompanied the Russians during their travels to Spain, Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, the UAE, Bahrain, Armenia and other countries.

The Italian police were reluctant to take up the investigation, visiting four police stations to get a criminal case opened.

But the investigation led nowhere. Then the Russians took matters into their own hands. They figured out the location of the stolen gadgets and informed the police.

They said they would not "invade private property."

Then the Russians decided to simply return the stuffed toy. They posted notices around the city and promised a 20,000 euro reward to anyone who returned it.
