The body of a 25-year-old Indian man was supposed to be cremated, but the man suddenly came back to life.
A man named Rohitash Kumar almost became a victim of medical negligence.
The Indian was taken to hospital in serious condition, the Times of India newspaper writes.
Soon doctors recorded cardiac arrest and subsequently declared the patient dead.
An autopsy was then allegedly performed, which stated that the cause of death was lung disease.
The body was taken to the crematorium and prepared for the cremation procedure. At the last moment, Rohitash began to show signs of life.
Crematorium workers stopped the procedure and handed the man over to emergency workers.
Rohitash survived and the doctors who pronounced him dead have been suspended from duty pending investigation.
