'Lurking around and putting on makeup': Commentator suspended from Olympics for criticising swimmers

Olympic TV channel Eurosport has suspended a commentator from working at the 2024 Games in Paris.
He made a sexist remark about Australian swimmers and was suspended.
The incident occurred after the women's 4x100m freestyle relay team won gold, The Guardian reports.
The commentator after the relay said: “You know how women hang out, do their makeup.”
Eurosport issued a statement following the incident, stressing: "The commentator made an inappropriate remark during the broadcast."
The broadcaster has decided to remove him from the list of commentators for the Paris Olympic Games.
The commentator has not yet made any public statements in his defense.
