An accident involving a seven-year-old child occurred in India.

Despite the presence of his mother nearby, the wild animal snatched him from the adult's hands and dragged him into the forest.

The local portal Lokmat Times reported on the incident.

It is noted that the girl's murder occurred on the evening of November 4 in the Amreli district, located in Gujarat, India.

A mother and her seven-year-old daughter were returning in the evening from the farm where she worked.

Suddenly, a predator pounced on the people - it was a lioness. Despite the presence of an adult, the animal tore the minor from the mother's hands and dragged her into the bushes.

Unfortunately, the child could not be saved. The child's fragmented remains were later found in the same area.

The Forestry Department staff quickly arrived at the scene. They began searching for the aggressive lioness and soon found her.

On Tuesday morning, the animal was euthanized and placed in a cage.

It is noted that this is not the first such incident in Gujarat. On October 21, Lokmat Times reported about a five-year-old child mauled to death by lions, but after that incident, the animal responsible for the murder was never found.
