An unusual New Year's decoration was installed in front of the Orbeliani Palace in Tbilisi.
The decoration is made in the form of a train, and Salome Zurabishvili drew attention to its possible symbolism.
The current President of Georgia expressed this idea on her social networks.
She wondered who should ride on the train set up in front of the presidential palace.
Let us recall that following the parliamentary elections, presidential elections are to be held in the country. The election campaign is scheduled for December 14, and Zurabishvili's term of office expires on December 16.
However, the President of Georgia previously stated that she does not recognize the elected parliament as legitimate and therefore does not intend to resign from the presidential post.
The current president considers herself the only legitimate representative of power in Tbilisi, to which Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze noted that no matter how much she would like to remain in power, she will have to give way to the legitimate president at the inauguration on December 29.
