Her boyfriend was riding the scooter with her and was barely injured in the incident. The victim's 16-year-old daughters also suffered minor injuries.
The Frenchwoman herself suffered severe head injuries and was taken to a medical facility by helicopter using air ambulances. However, despite the efforts of doctors, the woman died a few hours after the incident.
