Isinbayeva did not attend the IOC session in Paris

The Director General of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Christophe De Kepper announced that Yelena Isinbayeva did not arrive for the IOC session in Paris.

The committee, in turn, previously stated that the two-time Olympic champion in athletics would step down as a committee member in 2024.

It was explained that Isinbayeva's membership in the IOC will end after the completion of the 2024 Games in Paris, as reported by RIA Novosti .

The athlete has been a member of the committee since 2016 for eight years.
