Iran has commented on recent news about the alleged transfer of weapons to Russia.
Official Tehran rejected this information, which was disseminated by Western media on September 6.
This was reported by the Fars news agency, citing a statement made by the official representative of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Nasser Kanaani.
Let us recall that we are talking about information disseminated on September 6 that Iran allegedly transferred ballistic missiles to Russia for use in Ukraine.
Kanaani stressed that Iran is not involved in supplying weapons to either side of the conflict.
At the same time, the accusations are coming from Britain, which itself is an arms exporter. And such actions are destabilizing the situation in Ukraine.
Attempts to link cooperation between the two states with the conflict in Ukraine are nothing more than a justification for the West's continued supply of weapons.
It is noted that the official representative of the Kremlin Dmitry Peskov noted that this information does not correspond to reality.
