IDF reveals fate of last missing person after October 7 attack
The Israeli military said it had determined the fates of all people who went missing after the Hamas attack on October 7, 2023.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) press service shared the comment on its Telegram channel.
The last missing person was Bilhi Yinon. Ten months later, she was declared dead. The IDF notified her relatives.
A comprehensive investigation was conducted after October 7 to establish her fate, which revealed that the woman was killed during the attack.
In total, 1,200 people were killed in the attack. Palestinian radicals took more than 200 people hostage.
Since then, Israel has been conducting an operation to clear the Gaza Strip of Hamas forces. Recently, the military killed the head of the movement's politburo, Ismail Haniyeh. He died in his residence in the Iranian capital.
Now Iran and Lebanon are planning a retaliatory strike. Experts say the situation is as close as possible to a full-scale war in the Middle East.
