Hairpin Saves Woman From Big Bear Attack

The animal attacked a Canadian woman during an evening jog near the Pine Lake campground.

The predator grabbed her and tore her back with its claws, but she was saved thanks to the hairpin.

A woman from the Canadian village of Haines Junction encountered bears while jogging.

The woman managed to chase away two females, but a large male rushed at her. The bear suddenly grabbed the woman and began to scratch her back with his claws.

He also bit her head and at one point broke a plastic hair clip. The accessory burst and damaged the grizzly's mouth.

At this moment, the woman managed to break free and run away.

Following the incident, local authorities destroyed two bears.

The woman received multiple injuries as a result of the incident.

Earlier, the most dangerous bear attacked a woman and tore two men to pieces.
