The abnormal heat led to a grenade detonating at one of the police stations.
The incident was reported in a material by the Geo TV channel, which cites the words of Deputy Inspector General of Police Tariq Dharejo.
It is noted that the explosion at the police station occurred for domestic reasons. The main version that investigators came to is abnormal heat, which caused the device to go off.
According to preliminary information, eight people were injured in the explosion. Among them are two assistant inspectors, five police officers, and one prisoner.
The victims are receiving assistance in two medical institutions.
The epicentre of the explosion was in a storage chamber that had become too hot. It is specified that in Pakistan the thermometers have been above 40 degrees Celsius for several days.
