Azerbaijan to File Complaint with IOC Following Host's Comments on Karabakh
The Azerbaijani side is preparing a complaint, which it plans to send to the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
The reason for such actions was the actions of the presenter of the live broadcast of the opening ceremony of the Olympics in the French capital.
The announcer, in particular, pointed out that last year Armenia lost Karabakh, and it “went to the Azerbaijani army,” as reported by RIA Novosti .
Official Azerbaijan noted: “This statement requires intervention on our part.”

A number of strange events occurred during the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Paris.
Thus, it was reported that the Olympic flag near the Eiffel Tower was installed incorrectly, namely, upside down.
In addition, the announcers called the South Korean athletes North Korean athletes when they announced them.
It was also noted that some spectators left the event due to poor visibility.
