The head of the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Ayhan Hajizade, called on Europe to stop interfering in the affairs of the republic.

According to the diplomat, the EU should refrain from making subjective and biased statements about Baku.

In this way, Hajizade commented on the statements of the EU press secretary for foreign policy issues, Peter Stano, about which the diplomat himself wrote on the social network H.

Earlier, Stano reported that the early parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan do not stand up to any criticism.

Assessing the situation

Hajizade added: "Such statements are unlawful. The elections were held in accordance with our constitutional norms."
