British scientists conducted research that showed that it is not recommended to drink coffee before going shopping.
It is reported that otherwise such a habit can lead to unjustified and impulsive spending.
The British magazine Mirror cites relevant research. It writes: “People who drank just one cup of coffee before going shopping spent a lot of money.”
The subjects in question, according to the scientists, left 50 percent more money in the store than they planned.
In addition, it became known that coffee lovers in stores most often choose so-called “hedonistic goods”.
We are talking about products that cause pleasure. This includes sweets.
The researchers noted: "This behavior is associated with the energetic stimulation that coffee produces."
In addition, British scientists advised drinking no more than two cups of coffee a day to maintain normal psychological health.
