Tea bags are considered a quick way to enjoy your favorite drink.
However, they are not that healthy, especially if you brew them twice.
Let's figure out why twice-brewed tea bags can be harmful.
It is common knowledge that tea that is added to tea bags is not as high quality as loose tea.
Most often, tea leaf processing products are used to make the drink.
Therefore, after you have brewed a tea bag once, you should definitely not brew it a second time.
This is because the thinner the tea leaf is cut, the faster the nutrients are released into the water. Therefore, brewing it twice or even three times will not give you the desired richness or concentration of nutrients.
And this is not to mention the fact that when re-brewing, a polyphenol film begins to form on the surface of the tea, which, in turn, is a favorable environment for mold and bacteria.
