El Pais , in particular, writes: “During the specified period of time, doctors will diagnose myopia in half of the world’s population.”
It is emphasized that the emergence of such a problem is associated with the development of digital technologies, namely gadgets.

The publication adds: “Smartphones, tablets, and computers are wearing out our eyes.”
