Russia creates glove for motor skills restoration after stroke

The creation of a special glove for stroke survivors is a prime example of this.

A glove for restoring motor skills after a stroke has been created in Russia. RIA Novosti reports the details, citing the press service of Sechenov University.

It is noted that specialists from the Sechenov University of the Russian Ministry of Health were involved in creating the prototype of the glove.

It is also known that thanks to the device the patient will be able to bend his fingers automatically. This will speed up the restoration of motor skills.

According to the developers, the created glove has silicone actuators. They change shape under the influence of air, helping to bend the limbs.

They believe that the development will allow a person to develop muscle memory.

It is added that similar devices exist, but there is no production in the Russian Federation. Compared to other devices, the Russian glove is made of pleasant and safe materials.
