An ophthalmologist has revealed the consequences of using certain types of cosmetics.
Low-quality mascara can lead to eye problems, including corneal inflammation.
Ophthalmologist Viktor Borzykh shared these observations with the Life portal.
The expert recalled that every Russian woman uses eyeliner, mascara and other types of decorative cosmetics almost every day, which can come into contact with the mucous membrane of the eye.
This results in burning and itching and can also cause conjunctivitis and inflammation of the cornea.
Eyeliner and pencils are especially dangerous for the eyes. If you use them carelessly, you can get an infection in your eye.
Borzykh also reminded about the need to carefully monitor the means with which you apply cosmetics to your eyes. Firstly, they should be individual, and secondly, they should be kept in perfect cleanliness.
When using the services of a professional makeup artist, make sure that the professional tools are properly treated.
