Oncologist names two non-obvious symptoms of cancer related to vision
A specialist has warned about the symptoms that may indicate eye cancer.
The oncologist urged people to be vigilant in cases where redness of the eyes or increased fatigue is observed.
The head physician of the Mamma clinic, Anton Ivanov, shared this information with Gazeta.Ru .
He noted that the symptoms of various oncological diseases differ depending on their specificity.
For example, if an oncological disease spreads to the iris, then it is the iris that undergoes changes. That is, the color of the iris changes or spots and nodules appear on it.
Melanoma of the eyelids, according to the specialist, is accompanied by double vision, as well as the appearance of spots on the iris.
In addition, the oncologist listed the following as common symptoms:
- rapid eye fatigue;
- retinal detachment;
- deterioration of vision, etc.
At the same time, the doctor emphasized that most often oncological diseases are asymptomatic.
