In the Moscow region, over 2.7 million people tested themselves for HIV in 2023

Residents of the Moscow region pay great attention to their own health.

They actively visit doctors and undergo tests to check for various diseases.

One of these tests was testing for HIV infection, TASS reported, citing the press service of the Moscow Region Ministry of Health and the head physician of the Center for the Prevention and Control of AIDS, Alexander Pronin.

It is noted that the number of people who underwent this testing last year in the Moscow region amounted to more than 2.7 million people.

It is specified that the testing was anonymous and completely free.

According to Pronin, regular testing helps maintain people's health and also helps track the spread of HIV infection.

It is added that detailed information about testing for this infection can be found in various places, including the polyclinic. Testing locations are listed on the website of the Moscow Regional AIDS Center.
