It just so happened that the topic of donation is close and important to everyone who, in one way or another, experienced functioning Soviet medicine.
There were entire donor movements, with their own events, insignia, and certain preferences from the state.
Moreover, in 90% of cases, blood was donated on a paid basis and was paid for in cash, as well as with discounts in pharmacies and food coupons were provided.
And so, according to information from the Moscow Agency, at a press conference of a specialized forum dedicated to the volunteer movement, it was announced that donors organized more than 8 thousand different events last year.
It should be noted that in the Russian Federation in recent years close attention has been paid to the development of medical technologies.
Hundreds of billions of rubles are allocated annually for these purposes, and major projects are personally supervised by Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.
Earlier it was reported that the capital would soon begin producing special equipment for collecting and storing blood.
