In the Moscow region, medical specialists provided assistance to a child who inhaled a piece of paper.

The Moscow Agency reports details with reference to the press service of the Moscow Region Ministry of Health and the head of the hospital’s otolaryngology department, Kristina Tadzhikulova.

It is noted that the boy, who is 2 years old, accidentally inhaled a piece of paper with a barcode. The child's parents tried to help him, but they were unsuccessful.

It is also known that the child's mother and father sought help from doctors at the Vidnovskaya hospital. There, specialists confirmed the presence of a foreign body.

In addition, a short time after the examination, specialists managed to remove the paper using micro-instruments.

The Ministry of Health reminded that tiny objects can harm small children, so they should be put away.
