Doctors from Moscow Region Help Man Who Swallowed Dental Bridge

Doctors saved an elderly man who accidentally swallowed a metal dental bridge. The details are reported by the Moscow Agency, citing the press service of the Moscow Region Ministry of Health and endoscopist Viktor Chernov.
It is noted that a patient who swallowed a denture during a meal was admitted to the Podolsk Regional Clinical Hospital. He complained of pain in the esophagus.
According to the ministry, the prosthesis did not damage the stomach.
It was also noted that medical specialists had to remove the dental bridge using a special instrument.
Chernov clarified that half an hour passed from the time the man arrived until the moment the object was removed.
It is added that the patient's condition is now good. He has already been discharged from the hospital.
