Recent research by scientists has revealed an alarming link between the use of gas stoves and an increase in premature deaths.

The teacher warned that harmful substances emitted during the use of gas stoves have a negative impact on health.

The problem of early deaths due to exposure to gas stoves is much worse than previously thought, Bloomberg writes.

Tens of thousands of deaths may be linked to exposure to nitrogen dioxide from burning gas during indoor cooking.

Scientists have found that the health risks to adults and children have increased significantly due to exposure to gas combustion products.

Lead author of the study, Juana Maria Delgado-Saborit, said: "The public health consensus is that gas stoves are toxic."

The new study follows a report that found pollution exceeding legal limits in European homes.

A separate study found that more than 12% of asthma cases in U.S. children can be attributed to gas stove use.

Almost 40,000 early deaths in the EU and UK each year may be linked to exposure to nitrogen dioxide from burning gas in homes.

Scientists have confirmed that using stoves for cooking may be linked to premature death.
