According to the nutritionist, store-bought Easter cakes will not be of any use to children.
Easter cakes sold in stores do not always contain good ingredients. Given this, they should not be given to children. TASS reports details with reference to the press service of the Moscow Region Ministry of Health and pediatrician Niso Odinaeva.
It is noted that the kulich often consists of a huge amount of butter and granulated sugar. It also contains molasses and honey.
It is also known that the composition of homemade baked goods is familiar, but there is no certainty about store-bought Easter cakes.
According to Odinaeva, store-bought Easter cakes can have a negative effect on a baby’s digestive system.
She noted that excessive consumption of such baked goods can cause vomiting, diarrhea or nausea in a child.
In addition, the sprinkles can have a negative impact on the baby's health. They can lead to allergic reactions.
According to doctors, if you store the product incorrectly, it can cause intestinal bacteria to appear. Taking this into account, you need to store Easter cakes in the refrigerator.
It is added that to prevent unpleasant situations, it is better to prepare Easter cakes at home and eat them in small quantities.
