We make five holes around apple trees – and we know no troubles: a proven method for increasing the harvest
At the end of summer and beginning of autumn, it is important to take care of the apple tree so that the harvest will be at a good level next season.
Pruning, pest and disease control, and of course, fertilizing. These are the main tasks in the garden.
In the fall, it is important to carry out one important fertilizing, which will give the trees strength for a new harvest next year.
To apply fertilizer, dig several shallow holes (5–7 pcs.) around the apple tree.
Add the following mixture to them: 30 g of potassium salt, 50 g of superphosphate and 100 g of ash. Distribute evenly and fill with water, then bury.
This is a super-nutritious composition for tree roots, to which the plant responds very well.
In addition, you can carry out foliar feeding with humic fertilizers.
Usually they rely on the manufacturer's instructions. But the standard composition looks like this - 5 g per ten liters of water 25-28 ° C.
It is recommended to spray the crowns of fruit trees with sodium humate. Potassium humate can be used as an alternative.
