Not all trees are worth planting near the house. Even if they are very beautiful.

There are at least three trees that experienced owners of country houses and summer cottages will never plant on their property.

Spruce is considered a bad option. First of all, we are talking about wild varieties.

The tall tree will subsequently provide dense shade, under which the survival of other plants will drop sharply.

In addition, the spruce has an extensive root system, which can thoroughly undermine the foundation of a house or shake outbuildings.

Garden paths, flower beds, and vegetable plots will also be damaged.

Another bad choice is the American maple. The tree is fragile and can spread by self-seeding.

Birch is the third bad tree for a garden plot. It produces a lot of garbage, and its roots are as dangerous as spruce.

Due to lack of moisture, the tree can dry out and break during strong winds.
