Crassula has a huge growth potential. These plants can "grow up" to the size of a full-fledged tree.
But you can also choose a house tree with a thick trunk and healthy, fleshy, emerald-colored leaves.
To make the fat woman beautiful and well-groomed, and the trunk thick, you need to trim it. This will also help to avoid the plant falling over on its side.
An expert of the online publication "TUT NOVOSTI", agronomist Anastasia Kovrizhnykh said that pruning activates dormant buds and stimulates the growth of young shoots.
The specialist recommends not to be afraid to remove old and massive branches. If you see that a branch has begun to stretch and become bare, then it is time to trim it.
An important condition for pruning is symmetry. The weight of the branches should be distributed evenly, otherwise the plant may lean.
Also, do not prune the entire money tree at once. Because this can cause severe stress and growth cessation.
The cuts can be additionally treated with activated carbon or sprinkled with soil.
Another "stimulator" of crassula growth is a tight pot. The root system of the plant should thoroughly fill the pot. Then the above-ground part will develop much more actively.
