Many people wonder why gardeners cut off the “nose” of pepper seeds.
Experienced gardeners and vegetable growers know that such a procedure has a positive effect on germination, ensuring it at a level above 90%. This was reported by agronomist Anastasia Kovrizhnykh .
In addition, pepper seeds begin to grow literally in 5 days, and not the usual 7-15.
If you want to take advantage of such a simple and very effective offer, make sure you follow all the rules:
- sharp and clean scissors should be pre-treated with hydrogen peroxide;
- cut off the seed tips by 1-2 millimeters and only the mound, so as not to damage the seed itself;
- trimmed pepper seeds should not be soaked or sprouted;
- After pruning, sow, so prepare the soil in advance.
