How to Grow Raspberries Without Worms
Worms in raspberries appear when their larvae live near the bushes. Therefore, the first thing you need to do is to make it a rule to constantly carry out sanitary pruning of raspberries and get rid of fallen leaves.
It is also necessary to treat raspberries with three infusions:
- soda solution, which is used to water the bushes during flowering;
- mustard infusion;
- tobacco infusion.
The soda infusion is prepared from 100 grams of powder dissolved in 10 liters of water, and left for 24 hours. The treatment should be carried out every 5-7 days.
Mustard infusion is prepared as follows: 100 grams of powder is dissolved in water to the consistency of sour cream, then poured with a bucket of water and infused for 24 hours.
Tobacco infusion is prepared according to the same principle: take 200 grams of tobacco leaf or dust, pour boiling water (10 l) over it and wait for 24 hours.
