However, most gardeners make mistakes during this process.

Expert of the online publication TUT NOVOSTI, scientist agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh is ready to share with you advice on how to water grapes correctly.

Tricks of watering grapes

The first watering of grapes should be done in the spring. Keep in mind that each plant bush requires at least 40-50 liters of water.

It is best to do this before the buds awaken. It is recommended to use warm water, otherwise you can slow down the awakening of the plant.

In May, grapes should be watered only in one case - if the end of spring is dry.

But during the flowering period, you should never water the plant, otherwise there is a risk of losing the entire harvest.

During the period when the plant has finished flowering, it needs intensive watering. Before the berries begin to ripen, 50-60 liters of water should be poured under each bush 4-5 times.

When the berries begin to ripen, stop watering, otherwise the harvest will be tasteless and watery.

Take note: it is better to water the bushes rarely but abundantly than often and a little at a time.
