How to Grow Early Cucumbers: Follow Simple Rules

To grow an early harvest of cucumbers, you need to prepare a bed, thanks to which the green cucumbers will appear much earlier than all your neighbors, says Anastasia Kovrizhnykh .
At the end of April, as soon as the ground warms up well, dig a trench 25 cm deep.
It is filled with manure, humus and abundantly watered with hot water. A fertile layer of 6-7 cm with the addition of wood ash is poured on top.
Sow cucumber seeds and cover with a double layer of film or spunbond. As soon as shoots appear, arches are installed over the bed and the mini-greenhouse is covered.
Next comes the usual care of cucumbers: feeding according to the norm, weeding, regular watering.
When stable warm weather sets in and the plants already have 3-4 leaves, each seedling is tied to a trellis.
Cucumbers develop better on a trellis, they are easier to care for. 3 - 4 flowers that appear at the very beginning should be removed, but then abundant flowering and a good harvest are guaranteed.
If you pick the greens on time and follow agricultural practices, you can get enough cucumbers from one bed to feed your family, for salads, pickles, and marinades.
